PinkSlayer Community Outreach is a cancer advocacy organization that provides patient navigation services, educational programs, breast and colon prosthetics, garments, medical supplies, and virtual & in-person support group meetings for families affected by cancer. We encourage effective communication with healthcare professionals. Surprisingly many cancer patients do not understand the information given by their medical team. We provide training on communicating and understanding your medical team and records. Our team of dedicated medical professionals volunteers to provide expert information for our webinars, support groups, & community events. We are located at 1238 Suite 109 Holland Rd. Suffolk VA 23434.
PinkSlayer became a vision during one of Kristie Fields chemo treatment in 2014. Feeling defeated and hungry she wanted to give up. PinkSlayer came to mind as an alter ego to get through the treatment for that day. Once she got home she told her mom Judith Anderson about her journey that day. Judith told her she needs to start a nonprofit and call it PinkSlayer. After many months of thinking about what her mom said Kristie first tested the idea by promoting the cause in the community. After helping a few clients with groceries, gas for transportation, & survivor bags she officially started PinkSlayer LLC in March 2016.
We help you conquer your medical diagnoses and provide the atmosphere for a healthier fun lifestyle.
